Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product

Mysti Blanc is a white wine made from the Moscatel and Xarel·lo varieties that began life in the D.O. Penedès produced by Origami Wines.

Under the name of Origani Wines, the Jovani brothers, originally from Cava Berdié, create small productions in different denominations such as Priorat, Montsant and Penedès. From their point of view, wine (like origami or paper-folding) is an art that needs patience and skill to achieve harmonious, vibrant and seductive preparations.

Both the Moscatel variety and the Xarel·lo for Mysti Blanc are cultivated in private Penedès vineyards without the use of herbicides or insecticides. Once they reach their optimum point of ripening they are carefully harvested by hand.

In the cellar, after a light pressing to obtain the free-run juice, each of the varieties is fermented separately in stainless steel tanks at low temperature. The cold fermentation is halted to preserve the residual sugar. Mysti Blanc is bottled 15 days before being shipped.

Mysti Blanc is a fresh, aromatic and sweet wine that exudes joy.

Robert Jovani, for years it has produced high-quality champagne. In late 2006, makes way for their children in the small winery Berdié to devote himself exclusively to Priorat. Combining the art of traditional and modern viticulture enology, the brothers cellars Jovani create a new sensation, providing an overview of the latest culinary jewel of their land.
Today, the D.O Penedès is experimenting with viticulture and winemaking like no other region in Spain, home to a vast range of different grape varieties. The region is home to traditional white and red varieties, foreign ones, noble ones, permitted grapes, experimental grapes, and those that demostrate intrinsic qualities. As well as the grapes, the production techniques used are also worth noting, the location of the vineyards, the yields per hectare, the wines produced using traditional, original or even exclusive blends, the different ageing times, as well as the complexity of the different barrels used! But the reality is, given the vast diversity, it can be difficult to pinpoint what really defines a wine from Penedès, since there are so many types of wines and wineries in the region. However, the common denominator of all the wines from Penedès continues to be balance and quality.
