Milmanda is a white wine from Conca de Barbera produced by the Torres winery.
Milmanda was the name of one of the medieval castles that gave shelter to Christians during the Reconquest (X-XII centuries). In times of peace, the surrounding lands were used for the cultivation of the vine with excellent results. The Torres family grows Chardonnay below the castle.
Milmanda is a varietal Chardonnay.
For processing, the wine is made in small barrels of new French oak. Afterwards Milmanda is aged for 12 months.
Milmanda is a renowned white wine, much valued in Spain. So much so that the Spanish Royal Family have chosen it for multiple celebrations.
