New vintage of this fantastic white wine produced by the winery Celler Martí Fabra within the D.O. Empordà. Made of a peculiar blend in which white and red varieties are combined, all of them from vines over 40 years old grown surrounded of vegetation. Masia Carreras 2011 is produced from White and Red Carignan and White and Red Grenache together with a small proportion of Picapoll Blanc grapes. Traditional winemaking, separating each variety. Fermentation in French oak barrels where it rests for 12 months.

The landscape of the region of Empordà, located in the northeast of Catalonia, is full of contrasts, due to the natural limits of the Pyrenees in the north and the Mediterranean Sea and magnificent Costa Brava in the east. Thanks to these, the Empordà is a unique place, a special territory between the sea and the mountains, marked by the presence of the north wind known as Tramontana.
