Characteristics Mas Donis Blanc

Mas Donis Blanc is a white wine from Montsant. It is made by Celler de Capçanes, an important wine cooperative of the Priorat, within the province of Tarragona.

Mas Donis Blanc is made from a blend of Grenache and Macabeo. The grapes come from old vines of 40 and 50 years old, situated at an altitude of between 150 and 450m.

Furthermore, cultivation takes place in a wide variety of soils: limestone, slate (called licorella in this region), fossil dunes and clay.

The development of Mas Donis Blanc begins with a manual harvest in early September. Subsequently, the wine is made in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, the two varieties together.

The last step of Mas Donis Blanc is a cold stabilization and mild filtration before bottling.

Nice entry. A remarkable acidity that gives much freshness and liveliness. A white wine which is friendly and easy to drink.

Straw yellow, clean and bright.

Medium intensity, it stands out for its fruity aromas accompanied by floral and herbal notes.
A young wine with a nice attack. It shows an outstanding acidity that provides it with freshness and a high vivacity. A nice easy-drinking Spanish wine.

Tasty and light, very fresh wine with notes of fruit that take centre stage and a nice outstanding acidity. Its good finish leaves fruity aromas and a slightly mineral aftertaste.

Good intensity without being too powerful. Its abondant notes of juicy and sometimes ripe white fruit are released along with aromatic hints of flowers, herbs and some subtle mineral touches.
