Lustau 3 en Rama Manzanilla de Sanlucar de Barrameda is a manzanilla produced by the Bodegas Lustau.
Lustau was founded in 1896, evolving throughout the years, and is now home to three wineries in the cities of Marco de Jerez, Jerez de la Frontera, Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Lustau is the first and only company to be able to offer a range of 3 “en Rama” Finos and Manzanilla Sherries, one from each of the 3 cities in the Sherry triangle, with the aim of highlighting the typical characteristics of each zone and vintage.
Lustau 3 en Rama Manzanilla de Sanlucar de Barrameda is mad exclusively with the Palomino Fino grape and aged via the solera system, selected from 2 barrels from the 135 total, offering a complex wine. The wine is neither stabilised nor filtered before being bottled, coming straight from the cask (hence the term ‘en rama’), preserving its qualities.
This Manzanilla is probably the most saline of the range, produced near the beaches of Sanlúcar provides a slightly different character.
