Lustau 3 en Rama Fino de El Puerto de Santa María is a fino sherry produced by Bodegas Lustau in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz.
Lustau was founded in 1896, evolving throughout the years, and is now home to three wineries in the cities of Marco de Jerez, Jerez de la Frontera, Puerto de Santa María and Sanlucar de Barrameda. Lustau is the first and only company to be able to offer a range of 3 “en Rama” Finos and Manzanilla Sherries, one from each of the 3 cities in the Sherry triangle, with the aim of highlighting the typical characteristics of each zone and vintage.
Lustau 3 en Rama Fino de El Puerto de Santa María is made exclusively with the Palomino Fino grape variety and is aged via the solera system. The wine is selected from two boots of a total of 347, the most refined and elegant being selected. The wine is neither stabilised nor filtered before being bottled, coming straight from the cask (hence the term ‘en rama’), preserving its qualities.
This fino is perhaps the most opulent of the collection. It perfectly defines the character of Porteño where the sea breezes come and offer a small saline touch
