Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product

We don't know if it was love at first sight, but the partnership of Gianmarco Antonuzzi and Clémentine Bouveron works very well. He is a sommelier and gastronomic journalist, she is an oenologist. They met in Alsace, at the home of maestro Schueller, and their love for the terroir, soil, climate, exposure, people and life brought them together forever. In their winery Le Coste, located in the Roman town of Gradoli (Lazio), they work 14 hectares of land with the utmost respect and without any added products. Under the premise that nature expresses itself on its own, they make wines with minimal intervention that are well worth discovering.

Among the varied range of wines they produce, Le Coste Primeur is made from vines of the native Aleatico variety planted on volcanic soils, rich in iron and minerals. The work is entirely manual without the use of chemicals. The vines are cultivated using organic agriculture with biodynamic practices. When the grapes reach optimum ripeness, they are harvested and taken to the winery where they undergo carbonic maceration for 15 days in whole bunches. Alcoholic fermentation takes place spontaneously with native yeasts and finally the wine is aged in foudres for 6 months.

Le Coste Primeur is made without any kind of additives, letting nature take its course. A red wine made with carbonic maceration that might be light but, be warned, once you’ve tried it, you’ll be hooked.
