Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product

“We want people to enjoy our wines, but we also want them to be good for our body and good for the environment.” With this as their goal, Clémentine Bouveron and Gianmarco Antonuzzi founded Le Coste, a winery located on the border of Lazio and Umbria (Italy) which, with 14 hectares of land, is dedicated to recovering abandoned vineyards and forgotten traditions. The result is very impressive. Vintage after vintage, this couple who fell in love in Alsace learning from the great master Schueller, prove that they were outstanding students with a wide range of lively, energetic and totally holistic wines.

One example of this is their Le Coste Bianchetto, a white wine made with the Procanico and Malvasía varieties from 20-year-old vineyards planted in volcanic soils, rich in iron and minerals. All the work is done by hand, paying special attention to the needs of each plant and without the use of chemical products that could damage the environment. Instead, they use permaculture and organic agriculture. Once the grapes have reached optimum ripeness, they are harvested by hand and taken to the winery located in the village of Gradoli. A light skin-contact maceration takes place there, and alcoholic fermentation begins with native yeasts in steel fibre tanks where it spends 6 months before bottling.

Following the cycle of life and learning day by day from the cultivated land, Le Coste Bianchetto is a surprise every vintage. A fresh, light and exciting wine that tells you about the history of a region and its people.
