Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product

La Tremenda is a red wine from Terra Alta prepared by the Tros Vins cellar. It is a varietal Carignan.

The grapes come from old vines from La Setena about 50 years of age with a yield of 300 to 350 grams each.

The land on which the vines grow is sandy and chalky. La Tremenda ages, before being marketed, for 14 months in French oak barrels. The production of this wine is only 2,200 bottles.

Before being served, it is recommended to decant this wine.

Vins of Tros was launched in 2009 with the goal of producing wines with distinct character of Terra Alta. It aims to show the wines' expressiveness and quality of the land from which it is produced.

Wines from Terra Alta boast a unique character. This is down to numerous factors, including the region's unique wine culture, the location of the vineyards in the inland Mediterranean, and the abundance of native varieties including the Garnacha Blanca, whose white wines perhaps best express the unique character of the terroir. It is for this reason that these wines hold their own distinctive classification of “Terra Alta Garnacha Blanca”.
