La Maison Romane Bourgogne Rouge is a Pinot Noir red wine produced by La Maison Romane. La Maison Romane is a young winery founded in 2005 by Oronce de Beler in Vosne-Romanée.
La Masion Romane buys grapes and works the owners’ land so that the vineyard is cultivated according to its philosophy, i.e. biodynamically. It ploughs the lands with its two Percheron horses and does not use chemicals to treat them. In the winery it always works by gravity, following the phases of the moon in carrying out the operations, and practising the trend of minimum intervention to encourage the grape to express itself as naturally and purely as possible.
La Maison Romane Bourgogne Rouge is vinified according to the Burgundy tradition, vatting the harvest whole and letting the fermentation take place with native yeasts, without adding commercial yeasts. Once prepared, the wine ages from 15 to 19 months in French oak barrels.
La Maison Romane Bourgogne Rouge is a wine made from Pinot Noir grapes cultivated biodynamically and produced following the principles of minimum intervention. It is a wine that ages well in the bottle.
