Uhin Berdea is a white wine from the D.O. Getariako Txakolina by the K5 winery. This winery is situated in Aia, Guipúzcoa.

The K5 winery was founded by 5 friends, including Karlos Arguiñano, one of the most renowned chefs from Euskadi. The vineyard is situated in a spectacular location looking over the Cantabrian Sea, surrounded by forests on granitic soils. The planted variety is the local Hondarribi Zuri variety.

K5 ferments in stainless steel tanks and is then aged for 10 months in the same tanks. This is a white wine with more volume, but with an acidity and marked minerality. This is a Txakoli to enjoy now or to keep.

On the coast of Guipuzcoa, about 30 km. of San Sebastian, in a beautiful and peaceful setting of rolling hills and green valleys, is situated this small region, consisting of vineyards in the communes of Getaria, Zarautz and Aia.
The area enjoys a mild climate influenced by the Atlantic, higher average temperatures and high rainfall. For this reason, the vineyard is located on the slopes best sunny, airy, and in well-drained, adopting forms arbor. Marls and sandstones of the Paleocene-Eocene brown wet lands have resulted in limestone.
Two varieties of remote origin, exclusively involved in the development of Txakoli, the white majority: Ondarrabi Zurri, and low ink and color: Ondarrabi Beltza.
