Jasci Montepulciano is a natural red wine made by Jasci with the Montepulciano variety. Aged in stainless steel, it is made in the DOC Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, a denomination in the Italian region of Abruzzo.
One of the first people in Italy to convert his entire winery to organic, Sebastiano Jasci cultivates the family vineyards and makes his wines with the utmost respect. As a result, his wines are recognised as artisan and organic.
With a total of 33 hectares of vineyards, Jasci Montepulciano comes from 3 vineyards lying at different altitudes above sea level (190m/200m/30m). For the last 30 years, this winery has worked with organic principles with the aim of protecting the environment and producing pure and high-quality grapes.
In the winery, the Jasci Montepulciano grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature of 25°C with skin-contact maceration for a minimum of 15 days and without sulphites. The wine is then aged in oak barrels before bottling.
Jasci Montepulciano is a flavoursome and fine red wine, the result of a great care for the environment and the surrounding nature. A sulphite-free wine that ages very well in the bottle for 5 years after being released for sale.
Jasci Montepulciano 2019 is a juicy red wine with aromas of black and purple fruits, notes of cocoa and hints of vanilla. On the palate it is light, fresh and enveloping. A balanced wine with bright acidity and marked tannins. The finish is lingering and persistent.
