Henri & Gilles Buisson Saint-Romain La Perriere comes from a plot of young vines planted in 2011. These are Chardonnay strains planted in an exceptional location where the soil is a classic mix of clay and limestone. The team uses biodynamic agriculture with organic treatments and the grapes are harvested by hand.
After passing over the selection table, the Henri & Gilles Buisson Saint-Romain La Perriere grapes are gently pressed and placed in oak barrels to ferment with native yeasts at a controlled temperature. The wine is then aged for 11 months on its lees in French oak barrels; 10% of which new and the rest are 1 to 6 years old.
