Graci Arcuria Etna Rosso is a barrel-aged red wine made by the Sicilian winery Graci in the DOC Etna Rosso with the Nerello Mascalese variety.

Graci is located on the northern slope of Mount Etna in Passopisciaro (Sicily). The estate lies in an area with a wine-growing tradition dating back a thousand years and the winemaker works to produce wines that express their true nature with native varieties like Nerello Mascalese, Carricante and Catarratto.

Graci Arcuria Etna Rosso comes from a very old vineyard lying at an altitude of 600 to 700 metres. These are old vines planted in sandy soil of volcanic origin with a high iron content. They are cultivated using environmentally friendly agriculture, limiting the yield to 40 hl / ha and when the grapes reach optimum ripeness, they are harvested manually and selected in the vineyard itself.

In the winery, the Graci Arcuria Etna Rosso grapes ferment in contact with the skins in conical vats for 30 days with native yeasts and without temperature control. The wine then ages for 24 months in foudres giving way to spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Finally, the wine ages in the bottle for 6 months before being released for sale.

Graci Arcuria Etna Rosso is a red wine where the native Nerello Mascallese variety showcases its most exquisite and elegant side. A red wine with a long life of 5 to 10 years.
