Fincas de Landaluce Graciano is a monovarietal Graciano red wine from the D.O.Ca Rioja produced by Bodegas Landaluce.

Bodegas Landaluce is a winery in the Rioja Alavesa that produces small productions of modern wines. It controls some 30 hectares of vineyard trained largely in the traditional system, in bush form, growing the two native La Rioja varieties, Tempranillo and Graciano.

The vineyards for Fincas de Landaluce Graciano are located in the municipality of Laguardia. They are around 30 years old and their soil is clayey and chalky. The climate of the area is continental, with influences from the Ebro valley. The harvest is carried out manually at the beginning of the day to take advantage of the freshness of the morning, and to ensure the harvest reaches the winery at a low temperature. Graciano It is the last variety to be picked. since it is a late maturing breed.

Once the Fincas de Landaluce Graciano harvest arrives in the winery it is destemmed, incubated without squeezing and fermented in stainless tanks at a temperature of about 22-24 ºC. 90% of the wine is aged in French oak barrels and the rest in American oak barrels. Lastly, to finish refining the wine and to ensure it arrives on the market in optimal conditions, it is aged in the bottle for one year. A total of 2,000 bottles of this Rioja wine are produced.

Fincas de Landaluce Graciano is a powerful, fresh wine, with tannins polished by barrel ageing and a good finish. It is a rounded and harmonious monovarietal Graciano.
