Fillaboa Albariño is a white wine from the appellation of origin Rías Baixas produced by the winery Fillaboa. This winery is located in Salvatierra de Miño (Pontevedra).

Fillaboa Albariño is a monovarietal from Albariño. The grapes originate from 70 hectares of vineyards in Fillaboa, where the vines enjoy the privileged location of an enclave near the bank of the river Miño.

For its production the winery uses a traditional winemaking process. The alcoholic fermentation is realised in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature between 14-18ºC.

To discuss Fillaboa does not necessarily mean to revert back to the past, but time in the world of wine is, too often, the only way reconfirm the beginnings that forged much of the history of the grape, Albariño, and county, Contado de Tea, in the DO Rias Baixas. Also, we cannot ignore that the best wineries are usually always home to unique and individual vineyards and a special wine, both of which have usually been handed down the generations.
Rías Baixas wines would not be where they are today without the native Albariño grape variety. Although red wines are also produced in Rías Baixas, practically 100% of Rías Baixas wines are white. Among them, the vast majority of them are made with the Albariño grape. As well as young wines, fresh and aromatic, the region also makes wines aged in the barrels, complex wines with great personalities. Albariño wines can either be single varieties, or be part of a blend with other characteristic grapes of the region: Treixadura, Loureira Blanca and Godello.
