Faustino I Gran Reserva is a red wine from D.O. La Rioja produced by the winery Faustino. This wine is a coupage of the varieties Tempranillo (85%), Graciano (10%) and Mazuelo (5%).
After the harvest and once they arrive at the winery, the grapes used in Faustino I Gran Reserva are fermented at a controlled temperature of 30º.
Then, the must obtained for Faustino I Gran Reserva is macerated for 27 days.
Lastly, and after going through the all necessary vinification processes, Faustino I Gran Reserva is aged for 28 months in American and French oak barrels.
Before it is bottled, Faustino I Gran Reserva is refined for a long time in the bottle.
