Fattoria di Magliano Morellino di Scansano Heba is an organic red wine coupage of Sangiovese with a touch of Syrah made by the Fattoria di Magliano winery, in La Maremma, in the DOCG Morellino di Scansano in Tuscany, Italy.

Agostino Lenci decided to fulfill his dream of becoming a winemaker after having spent much of his life working in the footwear industry. This is how Fattoria di Magliano was born, a young winery in Tuscany working to produce wines in a way that balances and respects the land.

The Fattoria di Magliano Morellino di Scansano Heba clusters come from the Sterpeti and Tizzi vineyards with “scheletro” (fine gravel) soils, and are harvested over the first few days of September. When the clusters reach the winery, they are destemmed and gently pressed and fermented for 15 to 20 days in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures. The resulting wine then ages for six-months in unglazed cement tanks. The wine is cold stabilised and bottled to rest for about six months before being sold.

Heba's name comes from the ancient word the Etruscans used to use for Magliano. This area has very strong links with La Maremma and Fattoria di Magliano wanted to acknowledge this on the Heba label, which features the image of an ancient Etruscan head that was found in the Pyrgi archaeological zone.
