Espenyalluchs is a white wine made by Enric Soler in the Penedès wine region. It is a single variety Xarel·lo from the Espenyalluchs vineyard, which lies on a gentle slope at about 390 metres above sea level.

Their bush vines are planted closely together and young, although they came from old vines aged over 70 years old that are used to make the prestigious Nun Vinya dels Taus wine.

After the manual harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery and are lightly pressed without destemming. The must is then placed in 300-litre, fourth- and fifth-use French oak barrels, and spontaneous fermentation begins with the yeasts from the grape skin and the winery, under controlled temperatures.

Using the same barrels, the wine ages for 8-9 months, depending on the vintage, in contact with its fine lees without being racked or undergoing forced clarification or stabilisation processes.

All the estate’s vines are Xarel·lo with the exception of a small plot of Malvasía de Sitges, and they are all cultivated according to biodynamic principles. Enric Soler is a world-renowned micro-winery located in Torrelavit, in Penedés. In the winery he works meticulously, with care and precision, stopping the grapes from coming into contact with oxygen and using gravity for most of the work.

Cal Raspallet Catalan farmhouse is a typical late nineteenth century that maintains the same structure. The vineyard of the Taus is a piece of 0.89 hectares of vineyard located in the Alt Penedès, in the end of Torrelavit. Taus is called, in honor of moles community residents in the plot. The vineyard was planted by the year 1940 (and was previously vineyard but was torn during the Civil War to form part of an airfield Republican). It is a single vineyard and single variety with a great diversity of clones. The fact of working a small plot of vineyards allows a very direct and specific impact at a time to act.
