Emina Reserva is a red wine produced by the winery Bodega Emina Ribera in Valbuena de Duero (Valladolid), D.O.Ribera del Duero.

Bodega Emina Ribera is a winery located in the Golden Triangle of Ribera del Duero. Its privileged location gives the winery the possibility to select the best grapes from the best vineyards of the area, which alongside the most innovative technology of the winery, will allow them to produce excellent wines.

Bodega Emina Ribera belongs to Grupo Matarromera, a group of winemaking companies that emerged in 1988, when Carlos Moro, who had a long family winemaking tradition, decided to create his own winery, Matarromera.

Currently, the group is formed by wineries from 5 different denominations of origin, Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Rioja, Toro and Castilla León. This has placed it among the most important winery groups of Spain.

Emina Reserva  is a wine made from Tempranillo, from farms located in Valbuena de Duero, at an altitude between 750 and 900 metres, planted on loam-calcareous soils.

Once the grapes are harvested, the fermentation starts in stainless steel deposits at a controlled temperature, always under 26ºC, for a period of 14 days. This wine is aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels (Allier). Before it is launched on the market, it is left to stand in the bottle for a minimum of 16 months.

Emina Reserva is a warm, ample and lingering wine, where the tertiary aromas, like the roasted and spicy ones, are above the aromas of ripe black fruits. A wine with a lot of nerve.

Ribera del Duero wine is one of the most prestigious wines in Spain. Red wines made with Tinto Fino variety grapes, with highly complex aromas, fine on the palate and with a great storage capacity. The wines of Ribera del Duero present a perfect balance between the vividness of the fruit and the refinement of the wood, which has led to them obtaining a well-deserved international acclaim.
