D.O. Toro (Castilla y León)
Dominio del Bendito is a project started by Antony Terry in 2004. Searching for the perfect location to make wines that showed the soul of the region, he decided to stay in Toro. Currently, the cultivates 14.5 hectares in this area, using organic methods and making wines in the most traditional and natural way possible.
El Titan del Bendito is a wine made with Tinta de Toro from old vineyards between 60 and over 100 years old, very poor in organic matter and with excellent drainage.
Harvesting is carried out manually, selecting the grapes in the vineyard and in the winery. The grapes ferment in 4,000-litre concrete deposits with epoxy resin, with a maceration of 25 to 40 days. Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels.
El Titan del Bendito is an intense, deep and elegant wine. On the nose, the aromas of ripe black fruit stand out with floral and slightly mineral notes. With an intense entry, in the mouth it is opulent and mature, with a long finish where the fruit and the minerality take the center stage once again.
