El Bosc Cremat is a natural and organic red wine made with the Syrah and Xarel·lo varieties by Amor Per La Terra in Tarragona (Catalonia).
The Amor Per La Terra winery was set up in 2019 with the aim of promoting and honouring the land and those who work it with great care. Founded by Xavi Rutia, Salvador Batlle and Jaume Jordà, they collaborate with organic winegrowers from different areas like Alt Empordà, Penedès and Alt Camp to create natural wines that are a true reflection of the terroir.
Bosc Cremat is made with the help of winegrower David Baixas. The grapes come from Mas Regany, an ecological vineyard with clay-calcareous soil in the town of Aiguamurcia (Tarragona). The vineyard is cultivated in a way that takes into account the needs of the soil and the vine as much as possible and the harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness.
In the winery, 80% of the El Bosc Cremat grapes are destemmed and the rest are left in whole clusters. They are all placed in stainless steel tanks and undergo carbonic maceration with native yeasts. When the wine is ready, it is bottled without filtering or clarifying.
Bosc Cremat is a young natural wine made with minimal intervention and letting the grape’s freshness and fruitiness speak for itself. An honest and deliciously juicy red.
