Dominio del Bendito La Cuesta de las Musas is a red wine from the D.O. Toro made with the Tinta de Toro variety in Dominio del Bendito.
The Dominio del Bendito winery was founded in 2004 by the young Frenchman Antony Terryn, who found his place in Toro after travelling through the best wine-producing areas in the world. The winery has 13 hectares of own vineyards, plus 15 hectares that are managed from very close by with a great respect for the natural environment. In the winery the minimum intervention is sought after in order to obtain the maximum expression of the terroirs.
Dominio del Bendito La Cuesta de las Musas comes from vines that are between 70 and 100 years old, planted in sandy soil and limestone. These are dry-area vineyards planted in traditional bush-style and treated with organic products. The harvest is carried out manually.
In the cellar Dominio del Bendito The Cuesta de las Musas ferments and macerates for 28 days in small concrete tanks. It undergoes ageing in French oak barrels for a minimum of 22 months.
Dominio del Bendito La Cuesta de las Musas is a red wine created from the soul of terroirs of old vines.
Dominio del Bendito La Cuesta de las Musas 2014 is a concentrated red wine with aromas of red and black fruit, roasted touches and a floral base note. On the palate it is elegant with a silky tannin and great complexity.
