Characteristics Domaine Gramenon L'émouvante
Domaine Gramenon L’émouvante is a natural and biodynamic barrel-aged red wine made with the Syrah variety by the Gramenon winery in the AOC Côtes du Rhône, in southern Rhone (France).
Domaine Gramenon was founded in 1978 in the French village of Montbrison-sur-lez with the acquisition of 12 hectares of old vines and with the utmost respect for the environment. Because of that, since 2010 all their wines have been made according to Demeter biodynamic certification guidelines and they have now become a world leader in the production of natural French wines.
Domaine Gramenon L’émouvante comes from old Syrah variety vines that are planted in clay and limestone soils at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level. These are biodynamically cultivated strains with a limited yield of 25 hl / ha. The harvest is carried out manually when the berry is very ripe.
Domaine Gramenon L’émouvante is naturally vinified. Firstly it is left to macerate for a long time and ferment spontaneously with native yeasts. Following malolactic fermentation, only a minimum amount of sulphur is added where necessary. It is then aged in barrels for 7 months.
Domaine Gramenon L’émouvante comes from a delicious cuvée of different Syrah variety wines that reveal the grape and the terroir’s most natural characteristics.
Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product
Domaine Gramenon L’émouvante 2018 is a juicy red wine with concentrated aromas of black fruits, notes of violet flowers and hints of pepper. On the palate it is silky and elegant. A fruity wine with a somewhat spicy background.
