Domaine Dujac Chambolle Musigny 1º Cru Les Gruenchers is a single-variety Pinot Noir red wine produced by Domaine Dujac in the AOC Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru in Burgundy, France.

The grapes used to make the Domaine Dujac Chambolle Musigny 1º Cru Les Gruenchers come from southeast facing plots lying at an altitude of 266 to 273 metres above sea level in soils rich in Premeaux limestone and chunks of silica.

The vines are over 30 years old and are cultivated according to the principles of organic agriculture. When the grapes reach the winery, they are completely destemmed and traditionally vinified with native yeasts. The resulting wine is aged for 16 months in barrels, 30% to 50% of which are new.

Jacques Seysses’ love for wine came from his father, a great enthusiast who took the young Jacques to visit the greatest winemakers of the time. In 1968 Seysses bought the Graillet estate in Morey-Saint-Denis and renamed it Domaine Dujac (a contraction of “du Jacques”). The estate grew from 5 hectares in 1968 to 15 hectares in 2005.

The estate has now grown beyond Morey-Saint-Denis, its starting location, and a new generation have joined their elders to continue working with the same focusses of quality and care for the environment.
