Domaine de Marcoux Chateauneuf-du-Pape V.V. is a red wine made by Domaine de Marcoux with the Garnacha and Mourvèdre varieties in the AOC Châteauneuf-du-pape in the Rhone area (France).

Located in the Alpes de Haute Provence, Domaine de Marcoux dates back to the year 1000, before Chateauneuf du Pape was born. Five generations have dedicated themselves to producing wine on this estate, but they took a new direction in 1991 by obtaining ECOCERT organic farming certification. And all with the aim of displaying the riches of an exceptional terroir.

The Domaine de Marcoux Chateauneuf-du-Pape V.V. grapes come from three plots of exceptionally old vines planted on sandy soils with classical sandstone. They use ecological and organic farming methods with biodynamic preparations made from manure, herbs and silica. The harvest is carried out manually into 50 kg boxes.

In the winery, the Domaine de Marcoux Chateauneuf-du-Pape V.V. grapes pass over the selection table, they are destemmed and pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place with native yeasts and maceration is carried out at a controlled temperature with daily pump overs for four weeks. It then ages in foudres and concrete tanks for 18 months. When it comes to bottling, it is not filtered.
