Domaine de Bellivière Les Rosiers Sec is a monovarietal Chenin Blanc white wine from the AOP Jasnières produced by Domaine de Bellivière.
Domaine de Bellivière was founded in 1995. It has 15 hectares of vineyards that have been cultivated organically since 2005 and that have been certified as biodynamic since the 2011 harvest. The winery continually seeks to expand its knowledge and improve its wines by observing and listening to its terroir and its productions.
The vineyards for Domaine de Bellivière Les Rosiers Sec are less than 50 years old. Its soils are clayey, with flint and tuffeaux (the white stone with which most of the castles in the Loire have been built). They have an average yield of 25 to 35 hl per hectare and are manually harvested by making an initial selection of bunches while still in the field. The wine is vinified in barrels that have been used once, twice and three times, and once produced, the wine is aged for one year.
Domaine de Bellivière Les Rosiers is a Chenin Blanc of great purity and with a great and original aromatic complexity.
