Characteristics Cune Imperial Reserva

Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product

Cune Imperial Reserva is a red wine from the D.O. Rioja that is only made in exceptional years.
The grapes are collected manually and ferment for 10 days at a controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation the wine is aged for 2 years in French and American oak barrels. After a natural clarification the second phase of ageing takes place and the wine rests in the bottle for another year in the cellars of Bodegas Cvne until it is released onto the market.

Cvne is the winery that gave rise to the company in 1879. And it still retains its original site: the wine Station District of Haro in Rioja Alta. The Haro winery consists of a set of buildings and drafts, most of the nineteenth century, arranged around a courtyard. Above them were built pavilions processing, bottling and shipping of wine that are now preserved.

Rioja is one of the most important areas of wine production in the world. It has a long history, and exceptional soils and climates. From the Tempranillo and Grenache varieties they make great red wines that are masterfully aged which demonstrates the experience passed from generation to generation.
