Claus Preisinger Edelgraben Weissburgunder is a natural, biodynamic, ecological and vegan orange wine that is barrel-aged and made by Claus Preisinger in Burgenland (Austria) with the Weissburgunder variety.
 
Claus Preisinger is a young viticulturist, a member of the Pannobile movement and known for his mastery in natural winemaking. After training around the world, he built a modern winery in Goldberg in Gols and cultivates 19 hectares on the east side of Lake Neusiedl to make wines in the vivid image of nature, without any artificial interference either in the vineyard or in the winery. 
 
Claus Preisinger Edelgraben Weissburgunder comes from vines planted on gravel, limestone and marl soils in the town of Gols. The vines are cultivated using sustainable and biodynamic agriculture and without any chemicals that could harm the terroir’s natural balance. The harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness. 
 
In the winery, the Claus Preisinger Edelgraben Weissburgunder grapes are pressed whole and then macerated in amphoras for almost two months and left to rest. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with native yeasts and the wine then ages for 18 months in oak barrels. Finally, it is bottled without filtering or adding sulphur. 
 
Claus Preisinger Edelgraben Weissburgunder is a natural wine made without anything artificial and maintaining the maximum expression of its origins. A superb orange wine with depth.
