Château Quinault l'Enclos 2016 is a smooth red wine with a deeply aromatic nose of red and black fruits, delicate notes of dried herbs and spicy hints of cloves. On the palate it is delicate, light and lively. A wine with vibrant acidity and very suggestive granular tannins. The finish is pleasant and subtly earthy.

Château Quinault l'Enclos is a wood-aged red wine made by Château Quinault l'Enclos with the Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties in the AOC Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, in Bordeaux (France).
 
Located in Saint Emilion, Château Quinault l'Enclos can be found in the city of Libourne. The castle was renovated in 1997 when it was acquired by Alain Raynaud and he replanted the vineyards and introduced completely manual harvesting. In 2008, the estate was taken on by Chateau Cheval Blanc, who turned all the vineyards organic and began to include the Cabernet Sauvignon variety in their coupages. 
 
Château Quinault l'Enclos comes from a 19-hectare vineyard planted in a soil of rocks, sand, gravel and clay. The vineyard lies on a single plot on the right bank of Quinault. These are old vines, aged 50 or more, and since 2009 they have been certified as organic. 
 
In the winery, only 500-litre barrels are used to make Château Quinault l'Enclos, which reduces the surface area the wines are exposed to. Following alcoholic fermentation, 
the wine is aged over 12 months in 500-litre barrels, 50% of which are new.
 
Château Quinault l'Enclos is a bright and vibrant Saint Emilion wine with beautiful aromatic expressions and great aging potential.
