Charles Heidsieck Vintage Rosé is a sparkling brut made by Charles Heidsieck with the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varieties in the AOC Champagne (France).
The Heidsieck name has a strong connection to Champagne. There are three wineries with the same name. Charles Heidsieck is the smallest but also the most prestigious of these. It was founded in 1851 and since the beginning, its rich history has involved supplying great events like the royal wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. It has now merged with sister company Piper-Heidsieck in a new facility on the southern outskirts of Reims.
Charles Heidsieck Vintage Rosé comes from a selection of about fifteen Crus spread over the towns of Ambonnay, Bouzy, Hautvillers, Les Riceys and Verzenay, all of which are part of the AOC Champagne. The vines are cultivated using environmentally friendly agriculture and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes reach optimum ripeness.
Charles Heidsieck Vintage Rosé is a rosé cuvée that spends over 10 years aging on lees in 2,000-year-old chalk cellars. An aged roséchampagne that is famous around the world for its harmony and depth.
One of the most awarded champagnes in the world, Charles Heidsieck Vintage Rosé is a sparkling wine that stands out for its incredible harmony and depth and has a very promising future.
