Bérêche & Fils Les Beaux Regards is a Brut nature sparkling wine made by Bérêche & Fils in the AOC Champagne, in Champagne with the native Chardonnay variety.
Bérêche & Fils is a family estate which has been cultivating vineyards in the north of the Reims mountains since 1847. However, when Jean-Pierre Bérêche’s sons took over in 2004, the winery made a 180º turnaround. Vincent in the vineyard and Raphaël in the cellar begin to work respectfully and following ancient techniques. As a result, they put such a personal stamp on the elaborations that they have earned the recognition of the whole Champagne region.
Bérêche & Fils Les Beaux Regards comes from two old Premier Cru plots totaling 0.45 hectares. Vines planted in light clay, limestone and flint soils, at an altitude of 170 meters above sea level and with a slope of 10%. The vines have an average age of 50 years and are cultivated following ancient techniques but above all being very respectful to the environment.
At the winery, Bérêche & Fils Les Beaux Regards is vinified using the champenoise method. First fermented in wooden barrels with native yeasts and then the second fermentation takes place in the bottle with a cork stopper. It remains on the lees for more than 36 months and is finally disgorged by hand.
Bérêche & Fils Les Beaux Regards is a sparkling wine that stands out for its purity and impeccable balance. A very mineral champagne in the purest Bérêchestyle.
