Bérêche & Fils Côte Grand Cru 2005 is a profiled champagne with complex aromas on the nose of lemon peel and green apples, fresh hazelnuts and a crunchy meringue accompanied by notes of wet and dry chalk. On the palate it has a fine texture, with notes of brioche and butter and a subtle salty undertone. A deep and complex champagne with a long and elegant finish.

Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product

Bérêche & Fils Côte Grand Cru 2005 is a single-variety Chardonnay champagne produced by the Bérêche & Fils winery in Champagne, France.

The Bérêche & Fils maison dates back to the 19th century and is now run by brothers Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche who make champagnes with grapes from old vines. Their wines undergo a slow fermentation process in barrels with native yeasts.

The grapes used to make the Bérêche & Fils Côte Grand Cru 2005 champagne come from strains that reflect the purity of the Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger soils in the Côté des Blancs. The vines are cultivated according to the principles of organic agriculture. This champagne is a blanc de blancs because it is made only with Chardonnay, a white variety.

The Bérêche brothers work according to the philosophy of minimal intervention in the vineyard and in the winery. They believe that excellent wines are made in the vineyard, so instead of intervening, they work with nature and guide it through their simple but careful work to make sure it is the wines themselves that offer the most beautiful Champagne expression.
