August Kesseler The Daily August Pinot Noir is a red wine aged in stainless steel and made with the Pinot Noir variety by August Kesseler in the VDP Rheingau, in Germany.

Known as one of the best producers in Rheingau, August Kesseler set up his project at just 19 years old in the small family winery. Over time, the original 2.5 ha of vineyards have became a magnificent 22 ha estate in the best parts of Rheingau. Their wines made with the Riesling and Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir) varieties are currently greatly admired and sought after by a very diverse and select group.

August Kesseler The Daily August Pinot Noir comes from excellent vineyards lying on steep and arid slopes along the valleys of the River Rhine. These vines are planted in slate soils with a high proportion of sandy loam, and thanks to the area’s cold climate, the grapes ripen very slowly.

The harvest is carried out manually, then the August Kesseler The Daily August Pinot Noir grapes are selected and destemmed and then macerated with their skins. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine then ages in oak barrels.

August Kesseler The Daily August Pinot Noir is a red wine made by one of Rheingau’s cult wineries. A delicate, silky and smooth Pinot Noir that stands out for its feminine character.
