To achieve this, renowned Australian viticulturist, Richard Smart, performed an exhaustive study of the terrain, soil, and climate to choose the optimal exposures, orientations and varieties for the winery's goals.
Arrayán Rosado belongs to the D.O. Méntrida and is made with Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grapes from the vineyards in their estate "La Verdosa".
Turning now to the production process, this wine is made using the "sangrado" method - 10% of each of the four varieties is devatted off ("bled off"). After a cold maceration lasting for 8 hours, the wine slowly ferments at 15ºC in stainless steel deposits for approximately 20 days.

Tasting notes Arrayán Rosado
Pretty and intense raspberry colour with violet reflections and steely rims. Clean and very bright. Fine and slow-falling tears on the glass.
Intense, fragrant and very expressive. Aromas of ripe red fruit (strawberry, redcurrant, and blackcurrant) stand out, with some alcoholic notes, hints of sweets, flowers, citrus nuances, fresh grass and spices. This complex, fresh and elegant aromatic set is completed with some deep mineral notes.
