Antoine Lienhardt Gamayoptère is a natural red wine made by Domaine Antoine Lienhardt with the Gamay variety in the AOC Coteaux-Bourguignons, in Burgundy (France).
Having worked for several years in different wine-growing areas, Antoine Lienhardt took over the vineyards planted by his grandfather in 1960 in the town of Comblanchien and began an extensive work to showcase the value of the Côte de Nuits terroir in Burgundy. Taking his lead from the water, air and soil, he produces natural, ecological, biodynamic and vegan-friendly wines that have caught the attention of minimal intervention experts in a very short time.
Antoine Lienhardt Gamayoptère comes from organically cultivated old vines, using biodynamic treatments and Grand Cru level care. The yields are limited as much as possible and a horse is used for the work in the field. The grapes are manually harvested and selected in the vineyard before they reach the winery.
In the winery Antoine Lienhardt Gamayoptère undergoes a semi-carbonic maceration in a whole clusters with native yeasts and no sulphur. The aging takes place partly in stainless steel tanks with a smaller amount in a concrete egg for 7 months. Finally, the wine is bottled without filtering or clarifying.
Antoine Lienhardt Gamayoptère 2019 is a truly original Burgundy made by the expert hands of Lienhardt. A natural red wine that exudes freshness, fruitiness and flavour.
