André Beaufort Ambonnay Grand Cru Millésime
Champagne from Ambonay to sip and relax
Characteristics André Beaufort Ambonnay Grand Cru Millésime
André Beaufort Ambonnay Grand Cru Millésime is a champagne coupage of the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varieties produced by the André Beaufort winery in Champagne, France.
The clusters used to make the André Beaufort Ambonnay Grand Cru Millésime champagne come from plots located between Reims, Epernay and Chalons sur Marne, which have limestone soils and lie in a fairly cold, dry climate. This champagne is made following the traditional method.
Ambonay is a traditional Champagne town producing structured and robust champagnes. This André Beaufort Ambonnay Grand Cru Millésime expresses a more marked Pinot Noir and an intense Chardonnay on the palate. It has great longevity, making it the perfect champagne to sip and relax. This sparkling wine contains no added sulphites.
Since 1971 André Beaufort has cultivated his vineyards under the principles of biodynamic agriculture and without using chemical products after discovering in the winery that these synthetic products were causing allergies. This prompted them to look for natural alternatives and avoid anything that could cause contamination, even without the support of the health authorities. This whole project is a declaration of intent to work in an environmentally friendly way, with clean and healthy production processes and a desire to naturally express the full potential that the varieties and the terroir bring to each of their champagnes.
