Llavors Blanc 2024 is a wine that reveals itself in the glass with a hint of ripe white fruit—juicy pear and baked apple—dappled with a subtle smoky whisper reminiscent of freshly toasted bread. On the palate, it glides with a creamy and enveloping texture, while a citrus freshness keeps the sip agile and vibrant. That barely noticeable touch of wood adds depth without diminishing its sparkle, leaving a pleasantly long finish that invites another sip. About Llavors Blanc

Llavors Blanc is a white wine coupage of the Macabeo, Garnacha Roja and Xarel·lo varieties made by the La Vinyeta winery in the DO Empordà in Catalonia.

Llavors Blanc spends a short time with its lees and is aged for two months in French oak barrels to add complexity and silkiness. This is an elegant, unctuous and intense white wine that retains its fresh Mediterranean character and is definitely worth more than it costs.

The La Vinyeta winery is run by Josep Serra and Marta Pedra, a young and dynamic couple who make authentic wines following an environmentally-friendly philosophy and with the aim of creating a portrait of the climate and the landscape, enhancing the organoleptic characteristics of each of the grapes they work with.

Llavors Blanc is part of a trilogy of wines: Heus, Llavors and Puntiapart, which make up a story, journalistic or literary. Llavors, which in Catalan means “then”, is the continuation of a story that year after year is reflected on the original bottle label, a wine that never ceases to surprise.
