About Les Manyes

Les Manyes is a red wine produced in a small village called Torroja, protected by Q.D.O. Priorat. It is produced by the winery Terroir al Límit, out of grapes from 50-year-old Grenache vineyards.

It is produced under a non-interventionist philosophy, in order to show the different terroirs in the most natural way possible and under a biodynamic environmentally-friendly wine growing. It is aged for 18 months in French oak 'foudres' (large casks) after which the wine is bottled by gravity without clarifying and filtering. Really limited production. We recommend decanting the wine one hour before enjoying it.

2019

Les Manyes 2019 is a supple red wine, brimming with primary aromas of wild blackberry, complemented by herbaceous and floral undertones, mineral strokes, and hints of smoke. On the palate, it is refined, vibrant, and succulent. An articulate Grenache boasting a robust structure where the acidity and tannins are seamlessly woven together, culminating in a prolonged and exquisite finish. A mere 1,868 bottles have been produced.
2012 Presence of ripe black and red fruit. Robust tannins complemented by a prolonged and persistent finish.

Lovely cherry hue with copious legs.

Vibrant and complex. Exhibits notes of ripe black fruit and floral nuances against a pleasant mineral backdrop.
2009 In the mouth, it is intense and concentrated. Serious attack, with very ripe black and red fruit, highly noticeable and direct tannins and excellent acidity. Long, persistent and very mineral finish.

Intense cherry color with maroon edge. It shows an abundant slightly coloured slow-falling tears.

Very intense and complex nose. Very ripe black fruit, almost liquor with intense mineral reminiscence and floral notes. As it is oxygenated, spiced, balsamic and hardwood notes appear.
