About Forlini Cappellini Cinqueterre

Forlini Cappellini Cinqueterre is a white wine made by Forlini Cappellini with the Bosco, Albarola and Vermentino varieties in the DOC Cinque Terre, in Liguria (Italy). 
 
The Forlini Cappellini winery was set up in 1988 in Manarola, in the town of Riomaggiore. A true example of heroic viticulture on the rugged coast of the Italian Cinque Terre Riviera, Germana Forlini and Alberto Cappellini, together with their son Giacomo every year produce no more than 10,000 bottles of wine with a strong connection to Liguria’s agricultural tradition. 
 
Forlini Cappellini Cinqueterre comes from vineyards that are hard to access, lying on steep terraces with sandy soils and sea views. This is an area of challenging terraces with no access for machinery, which means all the work is carried out manually and the grapes are cultivated using environment-friendly agriculture to maintain the local identity. 
 
In the winery, the Forlini Cappellini Cinqueterre grapes are gently pressed and the resulting must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and remains on lees for 3-6 months before bottling. 
 
With impressively Mediterranean aromas and flavours, Forlini Cappellini Cinqueterre is a fresh, savoury and citrus wine that reveals and honours the spirit of those who make it.

Forlini Cappellini Cinqueterre 2020 is a fragrant white wine. On the nose, it is delightful and robust, with hints of citrus, wildflowers, and Mediterranean aromatic herbs. The palate experiences a smooth and harmonious balance, marked by freshness and delectable flavors.
2019

Forlini Cappellini Cinqueterre 2019 is an aromatic red wine with delicious fragrances of ripe yellow fruit, notes of wild white flowers and hints of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is smooth, fresh and balanced. A flavoursome wine with marked acidity and a seductively mineral finish.
