About Morasinsi Tratturello

Nowadays, with so many marvellous projects in the wine world, finding an original and meaningful name is no easy task. Yet there are names that emerge from the soul of the place, the passage of time, and the people who inhabit it. Such is Morasinsi: "M" for Murgia, the land that makes it possible, "ora", for time, that invisible yet essential ingredient in winemaking, and "sinsi", meaning together, because none of this would make sense without community.

In Puglia (Italy), at the foot of the Alta Murgia National Park, Sveva Sernia and Peter Geier have breathed life into an authentic project with this name: Agricola Morasinsi. A 10-hectare family estate where wine is cultivated with soul and food with purpose, under regenerative practices and with profound respect for biodiversity.

Morasinsi Tratturello is a testament to this philosophy. Crafted from muscat grapes, they are organically grown and hand-harvested. In the winery, fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts, and then the wine ages in concrete. Finally, it is bottled without additives, filtration, or clarification.

This is how Morasinsi Tratturello is achieved, an honest, vibrant wine that expresses the terroir and the personality of those who make it possible. A true statement of principles. Each sip speaks of Murgia, of the time that transforms everything, and of the power of doing things together.
