Domaine Huet is the winery, and its mere mention commands respect. Established in 1928 by Victor Huet and his son Gaston, it stands as a genuine emblem of the Loire Valley and one of the pioneers of biodynamic viticulture in France. For nearly a century, their wines have set the global benchmark for age-worthy Chenin Blanc.

The second name, Vouvray, places us in the heart of the Loire, in a designation where Chenin finds its fullest expression: wines with soul, capable of ageing for decades and telling, in every sip, the story of their soil and climate.

Clos du Bourg is one of the three gems of the domaine—alongside Le Mont and Le Haut-Lieu—and probably its most legendary vineyard. A historic clos, enclosed by walls and planted on tuffeau soils (a typical limestone of the region) that impart depth, texture, and a minerality recognisable from the first sip.

Moelleux, literally "mellow," indicates that we are dealing with a sweet wine, born from overripe grapes, harvested at the perfect moment to balance sugar, acidity, and tension.

And finally, Premier Trie, referring to the first selection of the harvest: the moment when the most concentrated, sun-golden grapes are chosen, often touched by botrytis.

The result of all this precision is a wine of sweet elegance. Fermented in barrels and matured in stainless steel tanks, it is meticulously crafted to preserve a natural residual sugar.
