About Belondrade Quinta Clarisa

Quinta Clarisa represents Belondrade's distinctive interpretation of the rosé genre: a wine that seeks the freshness and lightness typical of its category, yet without sacrificing the structure and depth of a red. The result is an intense, gastronomic, and remarkably versatile rosé, capable of accompanying far more than just an aperitif.
 
To craft this wine, Belondrade starts with the free-run juice of syrah from two plots, Clarisa and Almendro. This choice already defines its character and, together with the continental climate of La Seca, allows for ripe fruit without losing the acidity that supports the wine. The thermal amplitude of this region, with its very cold winters and dry, hot summers, plays a crucial role here.
 
Since 2023, Quinta Clarisa has incorporated a subtle change in its production. Twenty-five percent of the wine ferments and matures in used barrels, while the remainder does so in stainless steel tanks. This combination adds greater complexity and depth to the whole, without overshadowing the fresh and fruity expression that defines the rosé.
 
Quinta Clarisa is released in a very limited edition of few bottles. A distinctive, intense, and gastronomic rosé that proves pink can also compete in the top league.

2018 Quinta Clarisa 2018 is an intense garnet-colour rosé wine with elegant aromas of ripe red fruit. On the palate it is sweet, fresh and balanced. A rosé wine with body and well integrated acidity.
