El Celler de Can Roca currently works with a total of more than 150 spirits. If you are lucky enough to go all the way to Girona to try them out, lucky you; and if not, don’t worry. Part of this collection, which has been developed over seven years and in collaboration with the botanist Evarist March, can now be tried in the comfort of your own home with the Espetir Roca project. In total, there are six spirits and two collections (three in each of them) forming the soul of this new adventure where the Roca brothers are working to take their original concept, where drinks get the same attention as a plate of food, beyond the restaurant walls. And they are doing so through emotions, recreating Mediterranean landscapes and environments (which are so important to them).

So Esperit Roca Licor de Cacau is born through the bottling of “memories and sensations”. Within the Cacau Series, Esperit Roca Licor de Cacau is one of the three drinks in the collection. Closely related to Casa Cacao (El Celler Can Roca’s chocolate factory), this spirit is made from distilled cocoa spirit that comes directly from Hacienda Victoria, in Ecuador, and is bottled undistilled in recycled glass.
