About Enate Rosado

Just as wine is the soul of any winery, for the founders of Enate, art is an integral part of their identity. Established in 1991 in Salas Altas (Huesca), at the very heart of the DO Somontano, Enate has masterfully blended two forms of expression that share spirit and sensitivity: art and wine. Thus, each bottle of Enate is a doubly artistic creation: on one hand, its contents, the result of a careful and meticulous process that honours the winemaking tradition of Somontano; on the other, its labels, designed by renowned contemporary artists such as Antonio Saura, Chillida, or Tapies, transforming each wine into a unique aesthetic experience even before it is opened.

This commitment to art is not only reflected in the labels but also in the very architecture of the winery, which is conceived as a space where creativity flows, housing its own collection of contemporary art. Thus, Enate is not merely a winery but a sanctuary where wine and art engage in perfect harmony.

Among its creations, Enate Rosado stands out, a wine with the soul of a white and the body of a red. Its label, crafted by the Aragonese artist Víctor Mira, exudes vitality and colour, perfectly mirroring the freshness and fruitiness that define this rosé. Made from cabernet sauvignon from its own vineyards situated at an altitude of 600 metres on infertile limestone soils, this wine exemplifies the care and attention Enate dedicates to every detail. The manual harvest selects the grapes at their optimal ripeness. A skin maceration, cold settling, and controlled fermentation at 16°C in stainless steel tanks ensure that each bottle retains the full essence of the fruit. Before bottling, the wine is clarified, stabilised, and filtered to achieve its utmost brilliance.

The result is Enate Rosado, a fruity, balanced, and fresh wine, perfect for any occasion when you wish to toast to life... and to art. Because at Enate, wine is not just crafted: it is lived, felt, and admired.

As one brings it closer to the nose, a panoply of scents unfurls, with cranberry and raspberry taking center stage, interwoven with subtle hints of bell pepper, adding an unexpected twist. Enate Rosado 2022 is a very fruity wine with an intense nose, featuring aromas of fruits like blueberry and raspberry accompanied by notes reminiscent of peppers. On the palate, it presents itself with a fleshy attack and balanced acidity. A fresh, agile, and tasty rosé wine with all the character of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety.
2021
Enate Rosado 2021 is a full-bodied and fleshy wine that exudes intense, highly fruity aromas, with discernible notes of cranberry, raspberry, and a hint of pepper. On the palate, it is rich, yet possesses a delightful acidity that lends it a nimble and refreshing character. A flavorsome rosé with a prolonged and enjoyable finish.
 
2019 Enate Rosado 2019 is a rosé wine exhibiting pronounced varietal aromas of red fruit and subtle hints of spice. On the palate, it is vibrant, enticingly sweet, and enduring. It boasts a splendid acidity and a highly satisfying finish.
2011 Fresh, tasty and enjoyable wine with marked notes of sweet red fruit which dominate its wide and very fresh mid palate. A wine with an excellent acidity and a long finish with a good persistence.

Bright, intense and clean raspberry colour with bluish edges and thin tears.

Wine with a marked varietal character and intense red fruit which takes centre stage. The notes of fruit are fresh, with lots of strawberries and great sweet touches reminiscent of candies. Very subtle spicy notes.
2010 Excellent Somontano rosé wine, delicious and very fresh. Large wine with sweet fruit and a good acidity that gives it a great balance and freshness. Long and persistent finish.

Intense raspberry red colour with light bluisch reflections. Very bright and clean. Light tears.

Aromatic intensity dominated by the notes of red fruit with sweet touches that turn them into jellybeans. With a little time, subtle spicy notes are also noticed.
2009 Its balanced acidity makes it an agile and lively wine. Its evolution in the mouth is excellent, with a long, flavorful aftertaste in which we find varietal aromas.
