This champagne, crafted since 1876, is among the most exceptional sparkling wines you can find, produced from a blend of one hundred distinct cuvées that perfectly showcase the richness of the A.O.C. Champagne. This results in a blend of pinot noir—the house's emblematic grape cultivated in the Montagne de Reims and Aube—chardonnay—from the Côte des Blancs, Sézannais, Vitryat, and Aube—and meunier—sourced directly from the valleys of Marne, Ardre, and the Montagne de Reims. Altogether, this encompasses more than 120 villages, representing the perfect amalgamation of a terroir where limestone soils predominate under an oceanic climate. 
 
From its inception, this esteemed house of the A.O.C. Champagne has consistently upheld quality as a hallmark in all its creations: beginning with cultivation in the fields to pressing (with machinery installed directly in the vineyard), ensuring the grape clusters endure minimal stress during transport and production. Finally, G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge undergoes fermentation and matures for 20 months in the cellar.
