About Bicicletas y Demonios

Bicicletas y Demonios is a red wine from D.O. Ribera del Duero, produced by the winery Family Owned Wineries.

 

Family Owned Wineries is a project that was born in 2013 thanks to 2 families with a long winemaking tradition. On the one hand, the team of oenologists from Celler Tianna Negre, in Binissalem-Mallorca, and on the other, Bodegas Juan Gil, in Jumilla (Murcia).

Family Owned Wineries makes wines from different denominations of origin in Spain, with the local varieties of each area, to make wines that are loyal and representative of each region.

 

Bicicletas y Demonios is a red wine made from Tempranillo, from old vines.

Harvesting is carried out manually, selecting the grapes in the vineyard and in the winery. Once the grapes have been destemmed, they go through alcoholic fermentation in concrete deposits at a temperature of 28ºC. After the malolactic fermentation has ended, it stays in oak barrels for a few months.

 

Bicicletas y Demonios is a silky, fresh and elegant wine. The right ageing to show all the characteristics of the variety.
