From its liquid idea laboratory in Batea, (Tarragona, Spain), La Madre not only produces vermouths, it reclaims them as an experience in themselves. With 40 meticulously selected botanicals, ceramic amphorae, wooden barrels, and a philosophy that defies predictability, this Catalan winery has transformed vermouth hour into a manifesto. Its core essence is pure alchemy: slow macerations, prolonged resting periods, and an approach that honours tradition only to reinvent it.
 
La Madre Premium—its Reserva version—is a dense and velvety vermouth, crafted from garnacha and macabeo varieties, with an aromatic richness ranging from fresh grapefruit to redcurrant jelly, through blackcurrant and an enveloping hint of vanilla. Its dark red hue already hints at its potency, and its texture seduces with each sip, full of nuances and depth, thanks to its ageing in chestnut and oak barrels for nearly a year.
