About Viña Nora Albariño

Nora is a white wine made by Viña Nora in the Rías Baixas D.O..
This winery is located on the banks of the Miño River, in the municipality of As Neves (Pontevedra), within the wine-growing region of the D.O. known as Condado do Tea.
Nora is made 100% from the native variety Albariño. The grapes come from vineyards that are between 10 and 20 years old, planted on alluvial soils of granite rock.
Due to the rainfall and humidity that are typical of the Atlantic climate, the vines run along granite poles (parrals), thus enhancing their exposure to the sun and preventing fungal diseases.
As for its preparation, a traditional winemaking process is carried out. After a pre-fermentation maceration with the skins, Nora is fermented in stainless steel vats.
2017 Nora 2017 is an aromatic, fresh and clean white wine. This vintage shows all its aromatic potential, with ripe white fruit and floral notes. In the mouth, it is easy to drink, with a certain volume and a long finish.
2014 Crisp and expansive on the palate, with a rich, oily texture that leaves behind a tapestry of fruity and mineral nuances. Well-balanced acidity. Prolonged finish.

Pale yellow hue with golden highlights. Clear and luminous.

Robust aromatic intensity, with prominent scents of white fruit and citrus harmoniously blended with delicate and pleasing floral notes.
2010 A very elegant and embracing wine from Rias Baixas. The aromas felt on the nose are noticed again, more concentrated, with lots of mellow fruit, in a fresh and unctuous mid palate. Very good acidity and a long and lingering finish with a light bitterness (typical of the variety) and citrus hints.  A good and enjoyable Albariño, with personality.

Straw yellow colour with a good intensity and golden reflections. Bright and slightly gliceric wine.

Very elegant and seductive wine, with an elegant varietal character. Its intense notes of fresh ripe fruit are mixed with subtle floral and herbal hints. A balanced set.
2009 Elegant and long palate. Unctuous mid palate for a wine with personality reminiscent of ripe fruit.

Pale and bright, straw yellow.

Elegant aromas and vegetal notes that emerge with intense aromas of ripe fruit (apple, peach), typical of the variety Albariño.
2008 The palate is elegant, long and with personality, leaving feelings of ripe fruit.
