About Artazuri Rosado

Artazuri Rosado is a single-variety Garnacha rosé wine made by Bodegas y Viñedos Artazu, a winery belonging to the Artadi Group in the D.O. Navarra, Spain.

The grapes used to make Artazuri Rosado come from plots located in Artazu at an altitude ranging from 450 to 600 metres. The vines grow in white clay-calcareous soils and are cultivated with maximum care for the environment, following the principles of organic agriculture and avoiding pesticides and herbicides. The harvest is carried out manually in small 10 kg boxes.

Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled low temperature following the traditional Navarran method. This results in a rosé wine that is full of fruitiness and natural freshness.

The project began when the owners acquired 60 year old vineyards in the town of Artazu, Valdizarbe, an old and renowned winemaking town in the northernmost area of the Navarra production region, all with the quality assurance of the Artadi Group.

Artazuri Rosado 2019 is an aromatic rosé wine that fully expresses the essence of Garnacha grapes. It has a lively and robust palate. This rosé embodies the quintessential Navarrese style, both fruity and alluring.
2013 Fresh and flavourful with a pleasant entry. Fresh red fruit and light citric touches are detected. Good acidity. A persistent and medium-long finish.
